Garnet is the beautiful and headstrong princess of Alexandria,who longs to go on adventures and live a life
outside of the castle walls. She is very interested in books about eidolons and later realizes her ability as a summoner.
She is also interested in plays,her favorite being the play written by Lord Avon,'I Want to be Your Canary'.
She meets Zidane when he is coming to kidnap her,but she is infact,trying to escape the
castle herself. So she goes with Tantalus in hope to reach Lindblum (she wants to have a talk with
Regent Cid about her mother,the queen), and soon after she changes her name to Dagger to try to keep a
low profile.Having grown up in the castle, She isn't very good at speaking
to commoners,but Zidane encourages her and so her skills improve.
